The mission of the ALS Society of Canada is to fund research toward a cure for ALS and support provincial ALS Societies to provide quality care for those affected by ALS.

Behind every person with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, there are hundreds of people dedicated to helping. The Breast Cancer Society of Canada is a registered, national, not-for-profit, charitable organization dedicated to funding Canadian breast cancer research into the detection, prevention, treatment and to ultimately find a cure for the disease that women fear most.

Camp Dorset, is a camp resort for Ontarians on kidney dialysis. The resort has a dialysis unit onsite to provide guests in renal failure with their dialysis three times a week. It also provides an excellent opportunity to experience the great outdoors; get back to nature; and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere away from the stresses of everyday life.

Through education and services, advocacy, research and translating research into practical applications, the Canadian Diabetes Association works to prevent type 2 diabetes and to improve the quality of life for those affected by type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes.

The Canadian Lung Association has been dedicated to its mission of promoting and improving lung health for all Canadians. A non-profit and volunteer-based health charity, The Lung Association depends on donations from the public to support lung health research, education, prevention and advocacy.

Hospice Huntsville provides care and support to individuals in the Huntsville area who are facing end-of-life situations. This care and support is also extended to their families and caregivers and is provided in the setting of their choice.
