Wayne Russell Long

Passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025 at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa in his 64th year.  Wayne was born on December 20, 1961 in Toronto to parents Mary and Kenneth Long.  Wayne is survived by his cherished daughter Tina (Pat), his son Wayne (Katie) and stepdaughter Lisa Bradbury.  Much loved grandfather to two handsome grandsons, Tyler and Carter.  He will be missed by his sister's Sharon (Rob), Janet (Arnold), Gail (Andy) and his brothers Richard and Johnny (Suzie).  He will be dearly missed by his special friend Janet Fry.  Wayne leaves many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins to mourn his passing.  The mother of his children and love of his life Nancy Bradbury.  Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Kenneth, brothers Ken, Gary and Clifford and his sister Linda.

Wayne lived for spending time with his daughter, son-in-law and grandsons.  You could always count on him for a good laugh no matter the situation.  Wayne loved a good get together with family and friends, being out on the water to catch the big one.  He had a great love for music and being silly.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
