BULLOCK, Violet Marie (nee Markle)

Passed away peacefully on March 29, 2022, at Algonquin Grace Residential Hospice in her 84th year.  Violet was born on August 21, 1938 in Brunel Township to parents Emmitt & Mary (nee Smith) Markle.  On January 30, 2004 Violet married Gordon Bullock  at Hillside United Church.  She is survived by her beloved husband Gordon.  Cherished mother of Jack (Sharon), Jill, Judy (Steve), Jim (Kelly) and step-son Gordie (Kathy)  Proud grandmother of Crissy (Russell), Jennifer (Doug), Carmen (Karen), Travis (Kalli), Jessica (Corey), Steven (Alyssa), Joey (Christine), Michelle, Brooklyn and David.  Great grandmother of 17.  Dear sister of Murial (Howard).

Violet worked at Canadian Tire for 30 years as warehouse manager.  She travelled with Gord and any family member who would like to join.  She enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing and hosting family events.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Billingsley Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m.  Reception to follow.  Violet will be laid to rest in the Spring at Locks Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation or the Muskoka SPCA Animal Care Centre in Bracebridge.  Messages of condolence can be left at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
