Verna June (Leith) Haight

Passed away peacefully in her 91st year at the Algonquin Grace Residential Hospice with her family by her side. Loving wife of 68 years to the late Ernie. Dear Mother of Ron (Mary), Larry (Debbie), Paul (Gloria). Cherished Grama of Theresa, Michael (Stephanie), Terry (Adrianne), Lisa (Tim) White, Kevin (Kayla), Carine (Jamie) Corbeil, Katie (Denver) Dick, Alison (Jeremy) Wouda. Great Grama of 14 and Great Great Grama of 1. Predeceased by her parents Wesley and Mary Leith, sisters Minnie Smith and Irma Wreggitt and brother Gord Leith. Verna will be missed by her many family and friends and all who knew her as “Aunt Verna”.

Visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.  Interment to follow at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Huntsville, Canadian National Institute for the Blind , or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
