After graduating high school, they married. Mom worked as a secretary and Dad worked various jobs with the city of North Bay. Their group of friends also married, and they all formed a group called “The Dirty Dozen.”
These friends from high school met socially for many years having dinners, watching sports games, and getting together for parties.
Mom’s hobbies included knitting, baking, reading and word searches. She was an active member of Christ Church with the A.C.W. and Altar Guide. Mom volunteered at the Civil Hospital and the Canadian Cancer Society.
