Susan Elizabeth Peace

Our Susan was a humane, brave, determined, supportive, and loving human being. She is dearly missed by her husband, Brad; her children, Scott and Guinevere of Powell River, BC, and JohnMarc and Christine of Ethel, ON; her grandchildren Renee, Shane, Riley, and Olivia; her siblings Annie and Gerry of Godfrey, ON; Mary Ellen and Len of Arnstein, ON; Mark and Janet of Kitchener; Paul and Jacqui of Texas; Steve and Mike of Saskatoon; and Maureen and Dan of Kitchener; her many wonderful nieces and nephews; Rosalind and her other sisters and brothers in the Keith family; her almost-daughters Te-Hsin and Te-I Chang of Taiwan; and her little pals Oskar and Loki.

She is also missed by the various extended families she made along the way, including the Gauduns; the Bairds; her friends and neighbours on Hilda Place; her friends from Kitchener, Toronto, Saint John, New Hampshire, and Arnstein; and her colleagues at Zehrs, Loblaws, Irving, and Dessange.

Susan died on Monday, April 7, 2025, eight months after developing brain cancer. She was present and surrounded by many of her loved ones at the end. When her time came she faced it with the independence, resolve, and humour she applied to every aspect of her life. She will always be missed.
