Sheila grew up in a lighthouse on Caribou Island and in 1972 she bought a restaurant and called it Bob's Gulf and Sheila's Restaurant, located on Highway 11 in Huntsville where she was famous for her buttertarts. They would move to Walkers Lake in 1985, but continued working at Mother's Restaurant, which later was called Little Caesars and also worked at China House in Huntsville. Sheila resided in Huntsville until she moved to Pleasant Manor in 2022.
Sheila loved to bake for her family and collected lighthouses and salt and pepper shakers with over 2000 pairs. She loved all flowers and had quite the green thumb.
