It is with a profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ryan Solman on June 27, 2022.  Ryan leaves behind the love of his life and best friend Nicole. His cherished children Ava, Noella and Brennan, who will carry on his spirit, memory and sense of humour within them.  Also grieving his passing are his parents Armand and Noreen and grandpa Melvin. His mother and father-in-law Cam and Nick Dmytrow . His brothers Brad (Sue), Paul (Jen), Jeff and his sister-in-law Monique Cleary.  With Ryan’s passing, his nieces and nephews , Mackenzie, Carson, Issac, Jordan, Bella, Brodie and Jace will be missing out on all his great advice and wisdom that he freely gave.  There are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that Ryan’s passing will leave a big hole in their life and hearts.

Ryan was very active in his children lives from coaching his girls hockey teams to golfing, snow machining, hunting and fishing as well as other activities that his children wanted to try or didn’t want to try.  Ryan lived his life to the fullest extent and was up for anything. Sometimes no good but always did everything with the best of intentions with a larger than life personality enjoying every minute of it.  Let’s all take a moment to honour a life that was taken way to soon and to a man whose shoes can never be filled.

Funeral arrangements have been made, and will be held at the Faith Baptist Church in Huntsville, Muskoka on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm followed immediately after by the funeral at 2 pm. Interment will proceed at Baysville Cemetery, followed by refreshments at the Lake of Bays Community Centre.  Livestreaming will be available for those unable to attend the funeral service and can be accessed on Ryan's memorial page.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka to aid our future little athletes. ❤️
