Rosalie Jarline (Tessier) Shipway

SHIPWAY, Rosalie Jarline (nee Tessier)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Muskoka Landing Long Term Care Residence in Huntsville at the age of 92.  She is the beloved wife of the late Gordon Shipway who predeceased Rosalie on May 8, 1986.  Loving mother of Edward (Jackie), Larry (Heather), Nancy (Carman), Dale (Karen) and Cindy (Daniel).  Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Richard), Julie (Troy), Patti (Pete), Melanie (Jay), Naomi (Greg), Arlie (Matthew), James (Tiffany), Derek (Rachel), Clark (Deirdre), Kelsey (Mike) and Drake (Michael). Proud great-grandmother of Hayley, Huxley, Elisha, Chase, Etta-Rose, Miles, Shavaughn, Liam, Devlynn, Georgia and Arthur.  Rosalie was born on December 8, 1927 in East Ferris, Ontario to parents Noreldo and Florence (nee Gauthier) Tessier.  She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Tony (Val dec.), Marg (George dec.), Germaine and sisters-in-law, Fern and Paulette.  Predeceased by her brothers Herb and Victor.  Rosalie will also be missed by her former daughter-in-law Diane Leonard.

In keeping with Rosalie's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Rosalie will be laid to rest beside her dear husband at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka.  Messages of condolence can be left at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
