Robert Pringle
(September 14, 1956 – June 10, 2022)
Robert Raymond Pringle, fondly known as Bob, age 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022, at his home in Port Sydney.
Bob worked at Alcan Wire & Cable, Bracebridge for 26 years, and later started his own painting business, with life-long friend Lee Sawyer. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and later practiced Shorin Ryu Karate and achieved a third degree black belt. He was also a long standing member of the Huntsville Legion Branch 232.
Predeceased by his mother, Ruth, father, Ross Sr., and older sister, Barbara. He is survived by his brother, Ross (Marilyn) and sister, Debbie (Jim). Bob was uncle to Mike (Jen), Erin (Mike), Kari (Rob), Coley (Nichole), Krystal (Ryan), Raymond, Jo-Anne, and great-uncle to Adam, Alivia, Carson, Marisa, Freya, Ceara, Brenna and Jason (Francis-Marie).
Bob will be greatly missed by family, friends, customers and associates.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Bracebridge Legion with Fred Schulz officiating. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to Muskoka Karate Club, c/o Steve Wrightman, 705-644-0481 or the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
