RAMSHAW, Philip Lee

May 5, 1953 – November 21, 2021

On Sunday, November 21st in his 68th year,  Phil passed away in his loving wife’s (Sheila) arms, along with family beside him at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.  Whoever Phil met in his life was touched by his courageous, loving, inspiring spirit and sense of humour.  He dealt with so many obstacles in his life and persevered through each one with strength, optimism, courage and a positive attitude.  He never gave up and made sure he lived his life in the best way possible to enjoy his loving family who meant everything to him.

Phil will be so dearly missed by his beloved (hunny bunch) wife, Sheila (Luther); his loving step children - Tim (Lucy), Philip (Miranda), Kerrie (Thomas); his most precious grandchildren – Philip, Lauren, Reech; his furry companion Jasper; Brothers – Chris(Anne), Tom(Brenda) and Sister Ferne; very special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Phil was predeceased by his Father, Henry Ramshaw and Mother, Jean (Coulson)

We welcome you to join the family in a Celebration of Life for Phil being held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Huntsville on Saturday, December 11, 2021 between 2 – 5 pm.  Proof of double vaccination will be required.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation (Stroke Unit).

The family wishes to send special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses who took excellent care of him both at Huntsville District Memorial and RVH.  A special thank you to his family Physician, Dr. Robert Whaley for all the care he gave to Phil for many years.
