CONROY, Myrtle Jean (nee Farnsworth)

Peacefully passed away in her 99th year on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Cassellholme for the Aged in North Bay.  Jean was the beloved wife of the late Wilbert (Pete) Conroy for 52 years and the loving devoted mother to Ellen (Len), David (Judi), Gerald (Susan), Ralph and Paul (Jackie).  Cherished “Grandma” to Carl, Andria, Janice, Morgan, Jaimie, Bryan, Brent and Chad.  Special “Great Grandma Jean” to Owen, Gregory, Olivia, Jillian, Eric, Marlie, Felix, Josephine, Aaron and Andrew.  Jean is predeceased by her parents William and Myrtle Farnsworth, brothers Clifford, Ross, Ronald, Fred and sisters Marjorie, Gladys, Mildred and Ellen.  Survived by her brother Melvin.  A devoted Christian, she was well known for her delicious cooking, love of gardening and her good company.  Jean was a very special person and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family will be receiving visitors at the Billingsley Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m., reception to follow, followed by the interment at Locks Cemetery.  If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  Online condolences can be made at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
