ALCOCK, Murray James In loving memory of Murray Alcock who was born September 5, 1932 and passed away April 27, 2018 at Moira Place in Tweed, Ontario in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Madeleine who passed away February 2017. Loving father to Jeanne (Mike), Janis (Nicolae), Elizabeth (Thomas). Murray will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Laura, Bryce, Adam, Natalie, Trent and Colin. Great grandfather to Beatrice. Murray was a long time member of the Rotary Club of Brampton and Huntsville. He began his career in Brampton as a teacher/vice principal and moved on to manage the family business - Knight's Glass. He later moved his family north to Huntsville and will be remembered for owning both Pro Hardware and Huntsville Lock Smith. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses at Moira Place. We can not say enough for the amazing care they gave Murray during his whole stay and especially during his last hours. The interment will take place at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery in Huntsville on May 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Murray's memory can be made to Moira Place, Tweed Ontario.
