DEGAZIO, Muriel Irene (nee Hopcraft)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Case Manor in Bobcaygeon, Ontario in her 99 year. Beloved wife of the late Dominic "Mick" Degazio. Loving mother of Don (Heather) Degazio (dec.), and Debi (Jerry Biech) Tytler. Cherished grandmother of Dean (Robyn) Degazio, Todd (Carrie) Degazio, Michael (Patti) Tytler, Paul Tytler, Lindsay Mack and Mark (Kiara Sexton) Tytler. Great-grandmother of David, Julia, Felix, Madeline, Charlotte, Leland, Penny, Maeve and Lucy. Dear sister of Olive Phinney and Fred Hopcraft. Sister-in-law of Sally Morrison and Lesley Hopcraft. Predeceased by her parents Ernest Hopcraft & Alice Hawley (nee Brown), sisters and brothers, Islay, Harold, Lorne, Violet, Eva, Norman, Clarence, Alice, Elsie, John, Gilbert, Alfred, Grace, Mable and George. Muriel spent her life as a mother and homemaker. She loved to cook and sew and spend time with family at Buck Lake. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family both near and far.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service at this time. A private interment will be held at a later date at Ilfracombe Cemetery.
