VOLLANS, Michael Jake

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Michael Jake Vollans on Friday, February 18, 2022, a few short days after his 37th birthday.  Mike was born on February 15, 1985, in Kitchener, Ontario.  Son of John Vollans Jr. (Predeceased) and Sharon Burgess (Gary).  He loved his two children Kai, 14 and Nevaeh, 12 more than anything.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  Mike had a contagious spark for life with an innate talent for entertainment and humour.  As a child he found a lot of joy in acting and was even featured in several commercials and movies.  Whatever Mike set his mind to, he succeeded in with exuberance, enticing people to his charismatic talent for magic, bagpipes and deliciously prepared meals.  He had a kind soul with a true love for his friends and family. The world around those who knew him will be forever changed.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
