WILKINSON, Melvin Roy

Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2021 at Muskoka Landing in his 75th year.  Mel was born on April 11, 1947 in Huntsville to parents Vern and Ruby (nee Crooks) Wilkinson.  He is survived by his children Shannon Richardson and Shelly (Dave) Sheldrake. Grandfather of Ryan, Lauren, Noah and Ella.  Loving brother of Carol (Bob), Bruce (Anne), Judy (Larry) and the late Mike (Dyllis).  Mel will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Mel was known for his passion for rebuilding and restoring classic cars.  He was a regular attendee at car shows in the local area and will be missed by his many friends.

In keeping with Mel's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will take place at the Novar Community Centre on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 11:00 am until 3 p.m.  Private burial to follow.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
