ALLISON, Melville "Earl"

Mr. Earl Allison passed away peacefully at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, on August 21, 2012.  Earl was born July 22, 1925 in Port Hope, Ontario.  His parents were Melville and Reida (nee Beckett) Allison.  Cherished husband for 52 years of Marion.  Dear father of Dorothy & Wayne, John & Loretta, Ed & Dawn and Elizabeth.  Loving grandfather of Mike & Lori, Brenda & Tony and Sherry & Doug and Cliff & Ivy.  Great grandfather of Rhiannon.  Dear brother of Roz, Tina and Bill.  Predeceased by brother Lloyd and Mervin and his sister Gwen.  Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Earl worked on the family farm when he was young, he then worked driving transport truck for B.P. and Gulf Oil.  After his retirement he spent time back on a farm again helping friends on their farm.  He loved fishing, bird hunting in the fall, gardening, helping other people, building and small engine repairs.

A Celebration of Life was held at  Billingsley Funeral Home, Huntsville on August 30, 2012.  If desired memorial gifts to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
