Mary Jarvis

Mary passed away at her home in Utterson May 12/22. Beloved wife of the late Ernie Jarvis. Cherished mother of Patricia Hawes (Owen MacKinnon). Proud grandmother of Heather Sobieraj (Brian), Holly Buker, Shane Buker and Matthew Hawes (Amanda). Great grandmother of Kailey, Coby, Dustin, Natalie, Jackson, Brayden, Tamrah and Chloe. Best friend for over 50 years Patricia Hillyard.

Predeceased by her parents Lydian and Cecil Ausman, her brother George and her sister Sharon. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Mary worked at Corning Glass in Bracebridge before moving on to Domtar in Huntsville. She volunteered with Huntsville Beavers where she happily shared her extensive knowledge with the young children. Her many hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and bird watching.

A celebration of life will be held at 229 Stephenson Rd. 4 in Utterson on May 28, 2022. Internment will be held at a later date.
