Lillian Isabel (Tipper) Smith

Lillian Isabel (Tipper) Smith, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on July 28, 2022, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital with family by her side.  Isabel was born in Huntsville on August 21, 1925 to Harold and Eva Tipper, where she lived her whole life.  She was a proud member of The Salvation Army and enjoyed many years of service with many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Philip Smith, who died in 1999, and siblings, Jean, Helen, Agnes, Phyllis, and Russell. She is survived by sonny-boy, Robert (Pamela) Tipper, and sister, Joan Scott.  Loved by grandchildren, Marisa (Mark) Herrington, Rob Tipper Jr. and Diane (Colin) Ware, and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lucas, James, Kendra and Ian.  Isabel lived a long and full life, and will be missed terribly. She always wore a smile and had a heart of gold.   Isabel's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Country Moments where Isabel resided for the past several months.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation being held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Billingsley Funeral Home, Huntsville from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m.  Burial to follow the service at St.  Andrew's Presbyterian Cemetery.  Following the burial the reception will be held back at Billingsley Funeral Home.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to The Salvation Army at https://thesalvationarmyhuntsville.ca/donate/
