It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian who was better known to her friends as Jennifer, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital on February 7, 2025 after a lengthy illness.
Lillian is survived by and will be greatly missed by her god-daughter Erica Bridgemohansingh and Erica's children as well as her dear friends Lisa Legerton, Heather Cassie, as well as all her friends at the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation and in the community. She is predeceased by her parents Pa'l and Ildiko Majorcsik as well as her dear friends Kim Austin, Roger Butler, and Julie Allgeier.
Lillian was born and raised in Toronto by Hungarian/Canadian parents. Lillian enjoyed learning about Canadian Law and as a freedom fighter, she had strong beliefs regarding the freedom that all Canadians should have. During her life, Lillian lived in Toronto, Bancroft, the USA, and Huntsville. Among her favorite places was Algonquin Park where she had lots of fond memories of summers spent there while attending Ontario Pioneer Camp as a child.
Lillian kept us all laughing with her incredible humor and vivid imagination. She loved her many pets especially her most recent, a German shepherd named Vixen. She also loved food, movies and spending time with her friends talking about politics, human rights and God.
Lillian has been cremated and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
