KINGDOM, Charles "Lee"

Passed away peacefully knowing the love of his family and the exceptional care received at Hospice Huntsville on January 31st, 2022 in his 82nd year.  Charles Lee Kingdom was born in Long Branch, Ontario on July 2nd, 1940 to parents Charles Melford Kingdom and Frances May Kingdom (nee Crompton).  Lee left home when he was 18 and began working for the City of Toronto.  He advanced to the position of Day Care Inspector for the Department of Children Services.  In June 2000, Lee moved from Toronto to Huntsville in order to be closer to his family after retiring from the City of Toronto in 1995.  Lee and his best friend, Ross Young (who passed in 2014) loved vacationing in Cape Cod.  They also enjoyed biking to the Scarborough Bluffs.  Lee and his sister Joan grew up with cats and Lee was very fond of Mushroom, Little Stripes and Winter.

Lee will be dearly missed by his dear sister Joan (dec. Tony) Asturi, nieces and nephews, Janice Frenssen (Wade), Lori Sweet (Steve) and Anthony Asturi (Vanessa).  Loving great uncle to Lindsey Frenssen (Alex), Nate Frenssen (Tiffany), Evan Sweet (Gabriella) and Sofia Asturi.  Pre-deceased by his parents Charles and Frances Kingdom and brother, Frederick Roy Kingdom.  Lee will be dearly missed by the friends he made and will be dearly remembered by the memories made.

The family invite friends to a visitation on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at Billingsley Funeral Home, Huntsville from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.  A private family funeral service will take place following the visitation.  As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice Huntsville.
