Joan Glenda McCaw

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joan McCaw, our beloved mother and grandmother who passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2025 in Huntsville, Ontario at the age of 88.

Born on June 5, 1936 in Woodstock, Ontario. Joan’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife for over 55 years to Ken McCaw (predeceased), loving mother to Kelly (Cheryl) and Susan (predeceased) and grandmother of Kaitlin and Michael (Kiran). She is predeceased by her sister Gail and brother Doug.

After 30 years of service at Bell Canada, Joan retired in 1992 with her husband. She was an active volunteer with Trinity United Church, Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary, and numerous other causes. Joan and Ken travelled the world, and when Joan was home she loved sewing, baking, and spending time with friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.

Joan will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
