Gary Wayne Fisher

Gary (Joe) Fisher passed away peacefully with family by his side on the 11th day of March 2024. Joe was born in Huntsville, Ontario in 1956 to Ross and Marie Fisher.

Joe was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Brenda; children, Ben (Cheryl), Tonya (Dan); grandchildren, Hailey, Britny; and his sidekick great granddaughter Kinsley. Siblings, Larry (Elaine), Allen (Gail), Rossy (Denise), Darleen (John), and Rosie. Loving brother in-law, uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to many. Predeceased by parents Ross and Marie; brother Roger (Pat).

Joe worked for his father in his early years and later for the Town of Huntsville, and spent the majority of his career in the forestry industry at the local saw mill. Joe knew the value of hard work and worked very hard to take care of his family. Joe will be remembered for his kind heart and being the one to always lend a hand to those who needed one. Joe embraced life and always enjoyed spending time outdoors, spending countless time with his family and friends.

In keeping with Joe’s wishes we will celebrate his life at family gatherings in the months to come. We will forever continue to share stories and memories of times shared. His greatest legacy will be the difference he made in our lives and how much he was loved. He will be greatly missed!
