Florence Smith

Smith, Florence Mary (nee Snyder) Passed away at Huntsville Hospice on June 1st in her 86th year. She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert (Bob), H. and three sons, Scott of Mudge Island B.C., Christopher (Jake) and wife Susanne of Baysville, and Mark and his wife, Patricia of Allensville, ON. Proud Grandmother of Rory (Sarah), Alex, Rebecca, Briar, Riley and Julia (Clayton), Christopher and Jesse (Heather) Bramer and great-grandmother of Tobias and Meghan. Predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Douglas Snyder. She is also survived by her loving sister Edna Irwin and neices; Carolyn and Nancy of North Bay, ON. Florence will be remembered for her flower shop, Florence's Flowers, on Huntsville's main street. She took a real interest in the lives of her family and friends. Many thanks to the staff at Huntsville Hospital and Huntsville Hospice for their care and compassion. We would also like to give Stacey Lee a special thank you, Florence really appreciated your care and professionalism and had great respect for you. There will be no funeral service, but a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Interment in columbarium, Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery. Donations to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
