Ernie Douglas Crooks

Ernie Douglas Crooks passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Algonquin Grace Residential Hospice in Huntsville, Ontario in his 92nd year.  Ernie was born on March 5, 1932 in Huntsville to parents Norman & Edith (nee Hunt) Crooks.  He is now reunited with his beloved late wife Gloria who predeceased Ernie in 2018.  Ernie is survived by his son David (Leona), grandchildren Jenna (Nick), Shelby and Austin, great-grandchildren Kaylynn and Marshall and brother Orland Crooks.  Predeceased by his parents Norman & Edith, brothers Morley and Denis, sisters Ruby, Shirley, Mary, Muriel, Grace and Carolyn.  Ernie will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In keeping with Ernie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to Hospice Huntsville or Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
