Elmer Dobson

We regret to announce that Elmer Dobson passed away on December 22. Elmer was surrounded by family as he made his final journey. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Joyanne Hoddy (Ted), and is survived by his devoted wife Joyce and sons Mark (Sheryl) and Jim, his brother Ross (Nell) and many nieces and nephews.

Elmer was a shining light of hope and caring and always lived life to the fullest each and every day. Although that light has now gone out, it will continue to burn bright in the hearts of all those who knew him. He will forever be missed and be a symbol of how we all should embrace life..

We take comfort in knowing that Elmer is once again joined with his loving daughter Joyanne as they watch over all of us.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Deerhurst Resort, Huntsville, in the Waterhouse Room. Reception to follow.
We look forward to seeing all of you there as we share great stories and wonderful memories of a man who touched all of us.
