Peacefully at Fairvern in Huntsville on Saturday June 19, 2021. Edna Preston (nee McNalty), beloved wife of the late Eugene Preston was in her 97th year. Dear mother of David Preston (Gail), Donna van der Valk (Peter) and Christine Bainbridge. Loving grandma of late Sean Preston, Andrea Dykman (Brad), Carlin Foran (Brandon), Brett Preston (Eva), Jason van der Valk (Seana), Ben van der Valk (McKenzie), Simon van der Valk (Holly), Alysha van der Valk, Sandra Zrichuk (Terry), Tabitha Anderson (Elvis), Joshua Bainbridge (Mellisa) and great grandma of Gabriel, Kieran, Kassandra, Arya, Kinley, Amelia, Elsja, Aaron, Brody, Preston, Hope and the late Taylor. Cherished sister of Ada Binkley and predeceased by sisters: Phyllis, Muriel, Vina and brothers: Peter, Don, Evan and Russell. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COIVD-19 restrictions a private family service will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday June 25, 2021 at 1 P.M. with Steve May officiating. For those wishing to attend virtually a Zoom link will be available by emailing a request to moore@opatovskyfuneralhome.com by 12 noon on Thursday June 24, 2021.
