GREEN, Caroline (Carol)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Carol Green on February 24, 2023, at the Huntsville Hospital. She was born on June 11, 1954, in Gravenhurst, Ontario to parents Walter and Margaret (nee Barnes) Matchet. Carol married Lavern Green on July 14, 1990, and together they have five beautiful daughters. Cathy (Rob), Angie (Shane), Bobbi (Grant), Kathy (Rick) and the late Billie. A lifetime of love from her sister Audrey (Norm). Carol was blessed with many grandchildren to love, Mikayla, Lexi, Dominic, Matthew, Noah, Brittaney, Alyna and one great-grandchild, William. Carol worked as a caregiver until she retired. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. In her spare time, she loved taking her grandkids camping, building hot rods with her husband and rescuing animals. She spent time at drag racing events, car shows and travelling to Newfoundland.

We want to thank the Huntsville Hospital ICU Department for their care and compassion for Carol and Family.

A celebration of life will be held in early summer of 2023. If desired, memorial gifts to Huntsville District Memorial Hospital ICU Department.
