Brian William John Clarke

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian William John Clarke on May 18^th, 2024, at the age of 71. Brian was born in Orillia on March 6, 1953, to parents Thomas and Teresa. Brian married his loving wife, Cindy, on November 9, 2002, in Oshawa, Ontario. Brian worked for General Motors for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, taxidermy, singing and playing guitar. Brian was a member of the St. Gregory prayer group, and he enjoyed the challenge of fixing or tinkering with anything. He loved all wildlife and could imitate bird calls. 

Brian is survived by his wife Cindy, his daughter Lynn (Dan), stepsons Mark and Mathew (Meaghan), granddaughters Nikole (Cole), grandson Joseph (Hannah), great grandson Kohen, adopted grandsons Colby and Nash, and adopted granddaughter Dalleigh. He is also survived by his sisters Marilyn and Lois (Rick), brothers Fred (Carol) and Peter (Kim), mother-in-law Dorothy, in-laws Danny and Kathy, Susan and Brian, Sandy and Richard, Tracy, Ben, Pam and John, Kim and Wayne, Chris, Kerry and J.T., Bernadette, Debbie, Nancy and Mike, Tim, David and Laura, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Brian is predeceased by his father Thomas, mother Teresa, brother Tim, sister Dale, and brother-in-law Ross.

Visitation will take place on May 22, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on May 23, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. both at Billingsley Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on May 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Huntsville. Brian will be interred at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery on May 23, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. and a reception will follow the burial at St. Mary’s Church in Huntsville.
