It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bradford Peter Beck. Brad passed in his home on Lake Vernon on Thursday, Februar 22 in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Sally Beck (nee Robinson) and father of Adam Beck. A soft-spoken man with a big heart, Brad touched the lives of all those around him with his endless benerousity. He will dearly missed. Brad was born on December 5th, 1945 and spent his life throughout Ontario, from the far north to the deep south. However, the northern wilderness always held a special place in his heart. 13 years ago, together with his wife, Sally, Brad realized a dream of moving up to their cottage on Lake Vernon, near Huntsville, Ontario. There, he would be in his element. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Utterson Community Hall, Township Hall Road, Utterson, Ontario. Directions to Utterson Community Hall: From highway 11, take exit 207, the ramp for highway 141 (Muskoka Road 10), towards Parry Sound. Turn left onto Patterson Road. All are welcome. Join us and take the opportunity to honour Brad's memory while we reminisce about a man who had a positive influence on us all. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to contribute something in Brad's honour, we kindly ask folks to donate to a cause that would be meaningful to Brad.
