WEST, Betty May (nee Lepard)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Stan West who predeceased Betty in 2004. Loving mother to Barton (Brenda), Pat (John), Marvin (Lynda), Darlene (Ted) and the late Brian West. Treasured grandmother to Corey (Ashley), Kimberly (Darren), Jason, Mathew (Maddy), Scott, Ryan (Brittany), Kristine (Matt), David (Crystal), Allan (Jennifer), David (Leslie), Jenna (Dave) and the late Jennifer West. Proud great-grandmother to Cole, Alex, Gwen, Dylan, Colt, Logan, Nolan, Mackenzie, Brecken, Gabrielle (Greg), Logan (Jordan), Trent, Zachery, Danica, Saxon, Gavyn (Maya), Maevey and Kaylea. Predeceased by her dear mother Velma Lepard, sister Beatrice Gates and brother Freddie Lepard.

Betty enjoyed working in her garden growing flowers and vegetables. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always had a smile for everyone. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially if it involved having her entire family together.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Billingsley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at All Saints Anglican Church in Huntsville at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Huntington Society of Canada or to the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
