It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Basil Arbuckle, on November 2, 2022 at the age of 82.  He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Hazel Arbuckle and his wife Linda.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his son’s Thom (Shirlann), Al (Connie) and his daughter’s Bev (Jim) and Heather (Brian), his grandchildren Trevor, Justin, Thomas, Logan, Jason, Catherine and Scott, his great grandchildren Hudson, Sophia, Arianna, Colton, Jackson and Charlotte.

He will be missed and remembered by many including his friends at Church and his railroad club buddies.  He was a truck driver with Fowlers then Muskoka Ready Mix until he retired in 2005. His greatest passion and lifelong hobby was his model railroading.  He was a hard working man his whole life and was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was strong right to the end.  He was always so happy no matter what life threw at him and was always up to some kind of shenanigans. He was a lot of fun and always the life of the party even when there was no party.

Family and friends will be received at the Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 10 AM until  Funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11AM.

We will always love you Dad.
