DAWSON, Arthur Joseph "Art"

Passed away with his family at this side peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital at the age of 49.  Art leaves his beloved wife and soul mate Angel Dawson (nee Belford).  He is the much-loved father of Benjamin, Daniel, Melody, Michael, Brandon, Terra and Allison.  Proud grandfather of Ariyana, Brooklyn, Damian and Adelynn.  He will be deeply missed by his mother Marguerite Dawson and step father, Wilton ("Cork") Bomberry and father, William Dawson. Dear brother of Jason (Georgia) Dawson and Jeremy Dawson.  Loved and dearly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends both near and far.

Art was a talented musician, he especially loved to play the guitar.  He was a mechanical genius, loving to work on his many vehicles and motorcycles.  His utmost passion in life however, was his wife and partner of 27 years, his Angel and his children.  Allison, his first child bringing him immediately into adulthood.  Tara and Brandon both helped him hone his parenting skills and upon finding his life partner in Angel, they had four additional amazing children - Benjamin, Daniel, Melody and Michael.  His family was everything to him and he was equally important to them.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Billingsley Funeral Home, Huntsville from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Reception to follow.
