GROENEVELT, Arie "Art"

Art passed away peacefully at his home in Emsdale on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in his 67th year.  Art leaves behind his beloved wife of 15 years, Cynda Groenevelt (nee Campbell). Art will be dearly missed by family and many friends.

The family would like to take this time to say thank you to the following people and organizations for their support, patience and compassion:  North Muskoka Nurse Practitioner Clinic - Abby, Erin and Jane, Proresp - Mark, Robin, Ken, and Reba, Closing the Gap - Jennifer Bennett for setting things up for care giving at home, VON - Claudia, Hilary and all, Friends of Muskoka - Cathy, Huntsville District Memorial Hospital E Wing Nursing Team, Palliative Care Team, Dr. Erven, Dr. Kent and Norma.  Thanks to Independent Pharmacy and Shoppers Drug Mart for making his coming home possible, RNR Ambulance Service - Jason and Jamie for getting him home.  Many thanks to his nephews Gil, Robert and friends Elmer, Gene & Jack.  Thanks to all the first responders - Police - Sam & Rick, Billingsley Funeral Home and our dear friend and neighbour Betty Semple, we couldn't have done it without you.

In keeping with Art's wishes, cremation has taken place and celebration of life will be held at a later date.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Lung Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Messages of condolence can be left at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
