Ann Josephine Faubert (nee Krejci) – Born on July 10th, 1945 to Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Sysel) Krejci in Chatham Ontario.
It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Faubert announces her sudden passing on June 16, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital. Dear sister of Fran (Bob) Lachine of Chatham and predeceased by her brother Thomas Krejci. Ann was a loving and caring mother to Kevin (Cathy), Byron and Stephen (Suzanne), all of Huntsville. Loving grandmother to Clayton, Mitchell, Karl, Elizabeth, Abigail and Simon, and great grandmother to Henry and Elliott.
Ann was fortunate to have found love twice in her life. She was predeceased very early in her marriage by her husband Lawrence (Larry) Brown in 1966, but she found love once again and raised a family with her husband Carman Faubert who predeceased her in 2012.
Ann and Carman moved to Huntsville in 1981 where they quickly made many friends, and their home on Ripple Lake became a place where many fond memories were made. Family from Chatham often came for visits during the early years in Huntsville and Ann always made everyone feel welcomed. She is affectionately known as ‘Mom’ by most of her son’s friends because she always treated them like family. Her sons, daughter, in-laws and grandchildren have many memories of celebrations, family dinners, card games and Rummoli (“everyone got their pennies?”) at their home on Ripple Lake.
For many years, Ann worked as a home care nurse in the Almaguin area, followed by a number of years at Muskoka Landing before retiring in 2010. During that time, she made a positive impact in so many lives through the care that she gave.
Ann will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “ John 14:27
