It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aileen Gale on the 31st of August 2023, at the age of 92. Aileen was born in Grand River, Richmond County, Nova Scotia on January 14, 1931.
Aileen will be missed by her children; Jimmy (Cathy) Hunter, Wayne (Lenna) Hunter, and Kim (Mike) Yearley, her grandchildren; Jennifer, Jeff, Tanya, Theresa, Josephine, Sarah, Megan, Mitchell, Michael, and Amanda, and her many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Eva Silver and Valerie Moore. Aileen is predeceased by her husband Thomas Arthur Gale, and brothers Ted, Ian, and Bob.
Visitation will be held at Billingsley Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11 a.m. and a reception will follow.
Interment will follow the reception at Ilfracombe Cemetery at 2 p.m.
