Preston, Jonathan Alfred (Alf)
Alf passed away peacefully with family at his side at Fairvern Nursing Home on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in his 96th year. Alf was pre-deceased by Doreen (nee Strand), his beloved wife of 64 years. He was the loving father of Laura Parry (Tom), Lynne Preston and Bruce Preston (Laura). The cherished grandfather of Tom (Nisha), Kristen, Sean, Jonathan (Charlotte) and Heather. Much loved great-grandfather of Heather, Kyleigh, Katherine and Samantha. Alf had a long and esteemed career in the Canadian Justice System until his retirement in 1989. For the past 30 years he has devoted himself to his family and church with a healthy mix of world travel.
